I'll definitely give the Iron Horse five stars. It was recommended by Bert and Roger at the Broken Spur Motel. My wife and I ate at the Iron Horse once for dinner and once for lunch. I also took some of my relatives there for for milk shakes. Each time the waitresses (one time the owner) were friendly and attentive, and the food was great. A lot of locals like the Iron Horse, so it must be consistently good. It's a bit more expensive than a typical cafe, I think each of our main plates ran in the $12-$19 range. But it's worth it if. Closed on Mondays.

Great food and service ! Loved the French fries !! The tuna melt with pepper jack cheese was wonderful and Don said his French dip was outstanding and Ayla thought the twist was very good which had turkey, Brie, Granny Smith apple and Raspberry preserves !!

We were traveling through the area, looking for a family friendly place to have dinner, and the Iron Horse Cafe fit the bill perfectly. Great food and friendly service.

What an amazing little gem we found off the interstate! We saw a sign that said, "Three Forks - Montana's favorite small town"...so we headed that way in search of lunch. We met the friendliest people in town, our waitress chatted with us about what to do while we were in Montana, and our bison burgers were out of this world! Topped with bacon and avocado, it was DIVINE. We had the huckleberry and salted caramel milkshake for dessert, and it was just as awesome. Try the garlic aioli with your burger, too!

Damn good lunch food! My husband and I got sandwiches, salads, and the beer was good too. Nice staff, quick service too. We'll be back.

Stopped in for a late lunch, after hiking all morning. The service was friendly & quick. Obviously, the owner is quite the rail fan: railroad memorabilia everywhere, and the name should be a give away. The food was outstanding and _cheap_: I had the 'Italian Bread' which was an open faced chicken & bacon sandwich. The onion rings on the side were perfect. K's Mobb salad (cobb with chicken and bacon) just hit the spot, with moist, fresh cooked chicken.

Went to Three Forks to meet my son for lunch was kind of dreading it. It was the perfect meal for all. I had the prime rib lunch special was the best prime I have had for years. My son had the breakfast and it also was terrific. My granddaughter had a chimichanga it was also the best she has had and that includes Sante Fe Reds. This will be a stop and a go to all the time. Service excellent the food excellent and very clean. See you there
